Rope Bound OCD

"I always feel tangled everytime I turn around, like a rope attatched to me that I can't remove. If I turn around to the left, I feel like I have to turn around to the right to untangle myself or else i'll feel unconfortable to continue walking. If I walk through a doorway, I have to walk back out that same doorway or I'll feel tangled."

I propose Rope Bound OCD, subtype of Symmetry OCD in which someone feels like they are attatched to a rope that tangles every time the person turns around, goes through a doorway, or does certain physical movements such as walking around someone (Crossing your rope with someone else). The only way to stop the obsession is to turn around the other way, go back out the doorway in which they came in, or walking around someone the same way they did the first time (To uncross the rope). If the compulsion is not met, the person might feel anxious for a period of time. (Most if not all) People with Rope Bound OCD are aware that this behavior is irrational, though, continues to do these compulsions. People with RB-OCD tend to try avoiding these compulsions in public but still do it when alone.
